Gift wrapping doesn't come easily to most of us, so here at the Giftlab we've put a step-by-step guide together to ensure your present doesn't look like the dog's wrapped it!

First of all to start wrapping you'll need the right equipment...
So make sure you have:
1 - Gift Wrap
2 - Sticky tape
3 - Scissors
4 - any final add ons ie- ribbon, glitter, flowers

Step 1
Clear a large enough work space, then unfold, or roll, out your wrapping paper. Make sure there's enough paper to cover the whole gift, leaving a few extra inches just in case



Step 2
Once the paper is cut down to the right size, place the present in the middle of the paper. Bring paper from the long side of the box, up to the middle of  the box. Pull both sides tightly together, so the paper covers the box smoothly, then tape closed. 



Step 3
Turn one open end towards you, then fold the right and left edges, pushing the sides in next to your box to form flaps



Step 4
Fold top flap down to the box, pulling tightly, and tape. Fold the bottom flap up tightly and tape. Repeat on other side.



Step 5
Make sure box is facing the right way up. Run your thumb and forefinger across the edges of the box to create a creased edge, repeat on bottom of box.



Step 6
Feel free to add your own flourishes....a ribbon, some flowers or even glitter.
