There are so many reasons why the
On This Day Calendar is brilliant so its hard to know where to start!
Each day on this vibrant wall calendar is represented by a little black square - which we appreciate is nothing new but wait for the "science bit." Each square is heat sensitive so when you touch it (or breathe on it for that matter) the black cover completely disappears to reveal a fun fact about something interesting that happened on that very day.
For example, did you know that
on the 10th of January 1863 the world's first underground railway line (the Metropolitan Line) opened between Paddington and Farringdon in London..? Nor did I to be fair. And did you know that on April 16th 1889 Charlie Chaplin was born and here's a funny one, did you know that Charlie Chaplin once entered a Charlie Chaplin lookalike contest and finished third..? Ha ha.
Anyway, back to business... Once the square cools, the fact fades away again. Now, hats off to the guys at Luckies who designed this as they knew you'd want to add some of your own notes or appointments for the day itself so they left enough room for exactly that. Nice touch huh?
Also, as if
On This Day wasn't brilliant enough, its perpetual so it'll last indefinitely. Its a perfect gift throughout the year!
One This Day Wall Calendar comes packaged in a card tube. Its brilliant!
