Jam jars store jam, the solar powered Sun Jar collects and stores sunshine so that you can use it as the sun jar night light. It's made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting. The solar powered Sun Jar is an ingenious and rather charming lighting concept from designer Tobias Wong. You sit the jar on your windowsill during the day, then when it gets dark the Sun Jar night light automatically turns itself on and glows with the day's sunshine. The sun jar contains a solar charging panel and low voltage bulb with a sumptuous orange glow, and an auto light-sensitive on/off switch. Don't let the sun go down on your day.
